2006 Christmas Eve at The Orchard

Dec 27, 2006

That’s about all I say about our three Christmas Eve Candlelight gatherings this past Sunday at The Orchard.

I have been proud of our team on numerous occasions, but this past weekend everything went to a whole new level!  The synergy of our teams working together was amazing and the CROWDS and CROWDS of people blew me away.  The quality of our videos, music, production, and our environments were at a level beyond anything I have ever seen at The Orchard.

Wow!!! to the 10th power! I was so moved and touched by this years Christmas Eve service. Gabe’s at an age where it’s so easy to get wrapped up in the materialism of it all. My goal was to teach him the true meaning. He got it!! During the service when we lit the candels he was awe struck. He leaned over to me and whispered “Jesus’ love is so bright.” That was the greatest Christmas gift I ever recieved. So a big thank you to you and the whole team on a job well done! Lives were touched!

Any chance you can post your light video Scott? I only got to see bits and pieces while corraling the young’uns. And yes what an awesome night. Its usually so distracting to have my kids in the service but they were excited and we all got to worship together which I loved. They really liked the Christmas story video and could quote some of it because of what they are learning in class on Sundays. Silent Night was beautiful except for my kids fighting over the candle-gave new meaning to “all is calm” but, what are you gonna do? Great job to all and thanks for a beautiful night!

That was one of the most touching, beautiful services ever. I LOVED every detail. Especially that amazing, manheim steamroller-type song at the beginning! WOW!
