An Empty Inbox

Jun 15, 2006

Finally!  An empty inbox – in both my office AND personal email!

And let me tell you……it feels great!  Now, I just need to change a few of my email habits.  Such as…

  • Reading emails the moment the arrive in my inbox (auto notifiers are from he**.)
  • Setting up all "forwards" to go directly to the GARBAGE (hint, hint…)
  • Feeling like I have to respond to every single email (I always thought this sounded ridiculous, but it’s beginning to make sense…)

So anyway, an empty inbox feels great.  If you haven’t emptied yours in a while, do it!  You will be amazed at how much better you’ll feel.

And now it’s time for me to hit "post" and head to bed.  Before another email shows up….

Way to go Scott! I keep mine clean too. One thing that you can do is change when your mail checks the server for new mail. Just have it do it every thirty minutes or an hour. Then spend time to go though and delete and/or respond to the emails. This way you aren’t ruled by your email. You will be able to keep it clean then.

I just signed you up for 43 different mailing lists. Hope that helps some ;)
