Buzzin’ to the East Coast

Apr 28, 2006

On Monday, Amanda and I are heading to the Big Apple for a couple of days to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (wow…10 years!!)  Bummin’ around New York City for a few days has become somewhat of a yearly tradition for me.  This is the first time Amanda and I will be there together, so I am really looking forward to that!  Nothing like being in one of the greatest cities in the world with the love of your life…

After NYC, we’re heading to Washington DC for a couple of days to be a part of Buzz with everyone’s favorite theater church guru, Mark Batterson and gang!  I’m really looking forward to attending their first conference ever AND of course connecting with a bunch of fellow bloggers.  (Hey Batterson – will there be WiFi action at the conference location??)

If you’re heading to Buzz, be sure to shoot me an email!  I’d love to connect.

Wow you & Amanda must have got married pretty close to me – Wednesday would have been my 10 year anniversary.
Have a great time in NYC and DC – make sure you take pics so we can check them out here later.

  2. Dave says:

    Happy Anneversary!
Hope you and Amanda have a very good time in the big apple and every where else. Take lots of pictures.

  3. Scott,
Having a bit of trouble making the wi-fi happen. It is bumming me out immensely, but I’m not sure it’s going to come together. Part of the problem was the fact that we had to relocate to Union Station to accomodate the number of registrants. Great place for the conference, but it’s a difficult place for wi-fi.
Plenty of wi-fi to go around at Ebenezers though. So hopefully all is not lost!

  4. Scott,
Give me a buzz @ the Buzz.

Looking forward to crashing your romantic anniversary getaway. Shall I bring the wine or the roses?

  6. angie says:

    Happy Anniversary!

  7. Mark Batterson says:

Eat a corned beef sandwich for me at Carnegie Deli when you’re in NYC. I’m jealous :)
FYI–the walls at Union Station are about 3 miles deep and made of kryptonite concrete :) You have to hit our coffeehouse for free wi-fi.
