Can a dog have sleep apnea? 

My mom watched our girls tonight and since it was a late night she decided to stay the night – which also means that her dog (mini-schnauzer) is here too.  In fact, as I type this, she (the dog – her name is Hi-D, and yes, really spelled that way…) is laying a few feet from me snoring like a 300 pound gorilla.  And on top of that it sounds like she needs an oxygen mask. 

…poor thing.

Remember the mouse in the vent?  Well, we found it – laying on its side on the basement floor. 

Here’s a picture of Elise holding the little guy before we disposed of it.  It’s amazing what I can get her to do.    (Notice the candy necklace around her neck…Kidding.)
