This is pretty cool. It’s a concept camera called the WVIL. Stands for: Wireless Viewfinder Interchangeable Lens.
It’s pretty impressive. BUT….this also makes me wonder how professional photographers feel about how simple it’s becoming for just about anyone to place a pre-designed filter on a photo with nothing more than a click of a button. What would have taken the average person a few hours (or more!) to figure out, can now (in some cases) be done in a matter of seconds. Good for the amatuer. But what does it mean for the pro’s? Anything?

7 Deadly Sins

Last weekend we began our “7 Deadly Sins” series at The Orchard. Started with the topic of GLUTTONY. Wow…what a subject. You can listen here if you missed it. (BTW…here’s the iTunes podcast link if you’re interested.)
This coming weekend is Mother’s Day and we’ll be continuing the series by talking about…..ANGER. And no…there’s no direct tie-in with the topic and the fact that it’s Mother’s Day. Although…I think I’m picturing a new game app called “Angry Moms”. Hmmm….
It’s going to be a great weekend ahead!
