Do You Smell A Lion?

Oct 2, 2006

Sunday nights are always late nights for me.  I’m usually up every Sunday morning around 4:30am and in the office by 6:00am.  There’s something about getting a head start on the morning and taking some time to write, journal and to just get quiet that I have come to find essential to my life.  Of course, as you can imagine, Mondays can be pretty rough…  Think of it as a hangover, but without the fun the night before.  :)

So here I am now, almost 1:00 in the morning, and I’ve just completed the first chapter from Mark Batterson’s new book, In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day

The book will be released tomorrow and I can already tell you that it is going to challenge and impact a lot of lives!  Including mine!

I’m thrilled for Mark and can’t even imagine how excited he must be for this release.  In case you don’t know, Mark is the is the Lead Pastor of National Community Church in Washington DC and a fellow blogger.  I’m amazed at this guy and love his heart and vision.  But more than anything, I’m proud to call him my friend and am excited beyond measure by how God is using him and his team to impact people in DC and even around the globe.

Go to Amazon and order Mark’s book today.  Not only will you greatly benefit from it, but let’s help spread the word and get this into as many people’s hands as possible.
