Around 5:20am this morning my grandmother, Martha Hodge, journeyed into eternity.  She passed away very peacefully and with family gathered around her side.

She will, undoubtably, be missed by all of us.  She now joins the ranks of some very loved and missed family and friends – including my grandfather and dad.

Thank you for all of your emails, prayer and support.

(The picture above is of my mom with my grandmother just 3 weeks ago.)

Peace.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of your mom. Now I know where Elise gets her beautiful red hair!

  11. Sorry for the loss Scott. I lost my grandma about 2 years ago and though I miss her often, I know she’s dancing in heaven, and probably has crocheted Jesus about 5 or 6 sweaters already. She was quite a lady, as it seems your grandma was at all. God bless you and yours.

I hate to hear that Scott. I’m praying for your family in this time of loss.

  13. Sorry to hear about your loss. Sorry this is late.
