I personally do not own this, or use this…. But I looked for a friend of mine who went to a christian college, he has a iBook. This is the best I could find for him.

  2. Truitt says:

there is not much. and what there is mostly sucks. my favorites are and yes. web sites.

  3. David W says:

I use websites as well for Bible software. If memory servers you have a treo or a palm, I use OliveTree Software’s bible reader software and bought the bibles. I’ve got the KJV and NLV and NIV on my treo. It works great.

  4. Matt B says:

Logos is supposed to bring out their mac version in 07…looks good.

  5. Scott Harris says:

“Accordance is not only the best Bible software for a Mac but it is the best Bible software hands-down, no questions asked!”

Scott, Cole is our pastor of community life and spiritual formation and an avid Mac evangelist. In fact he converted to Mac primarily because of Accordance.

  6. I hear Accordance is almost as great as Logos, but there’s no version for Intel Macs, so it would run really slow.
You can get the Logos widget until they come out with a version for OS X.

  7. bill streger says:

I am a big Logos fan – have been using it for about two year now. Honestly, the lack of availability for it on a mac has been one of the only things holding me back from switching away from my PC.
When the mac version comes out, I’d get Logos.

  8. Blair Farley says:

It has not been released yet, but they are coming out with a Mac version of Logo soon… IMHO it is the best thing out there on the PC right now, so I would expect the Mac version will be great when it comes out. In the meantime… if you have a MacBook Pro you could always run your Bible software in Windows. That is what I am doing.

  9. Chris Baker says:

Other Option… have a MacBook Pro – correct? Run windows on Parallels or bootcamp and then you can run any software you want. But you probably don’t want to do that. But that is always a option.

  10. Well, looks like I’m a little late to the party. :-) But I’ve got to agree ACCORDANCE ROCKS!!!!

  11. I use quickverse on my mac right now, but am eagerly waiting for logos to come out with a mac version

  12. Dave says:

I use quickverse, they have a couple mac versions now.

  13. Dave says:

    I use this at work:
this way I don’t need to install anything, and you can look up in just about any translation imaginable. (I believe that Dave G may use this on his pocket pc).

  14. I use a green Gideon palm sized bible, sixteen highlighters and those dinky little post-its. It’s still better than having to use Windows.

  15. Matt Green says:

  16. Matt says:

I’ve used Accordance for years; love it.

  17. jon bee says:

it depends what you’re looking for. on the web, nothing beats it is a website that sends you to different web sites depending on what you have to do.
as far as software, i like accordance but i am licking my chops waiting for logos. i also have mac sword (a waste of time but its free) and quickverse mac.
