New Marble Mocha Macchiato Creates Quite A Stir

Feb 15, 2006

It’s time for another new drink from our beloved Starbucks…

It’s called the Marble Mocha Macchiato.  And to help promote it, Starbucks is again flexing their creative muscles by not only offering free drink samples of the MMM (Marble Mocha Macchiato), but also giving out the Marble Chocolate Stir Sticks to help give your regular cup of Starbucks coffee a kick in the pants – a sample of their new white and dark chocolate combination.

Speaking of samples… (click to view full size…)

It’s clever on a lot of levels…  For one, it’s reason enough to go buy a cup of coffee just to see how it tastes.  Or…if you don’t drink regular "black" Starbucks coffee, you can pretend that it’s a chocolate lollypop and eat it.

Either way, it’s fun and another reason why Starbucks deserves some recognition from today.  And tomorrow…  And…  :)

PS – See, the CreativityLab at Starbucks must be working!

    thanks for the heads up!

SO, I guess you like the MMM? I notice you didn’t give the Cinnamon Dolce Latte any airtime. What’s up with that? I’m curious…what’s your monthly Starbucks budget, if you have one? If I didn’t work there I would never buy anything there, it’s crazy how much we charge for a specialty drink, day light robbery if you ask me.

Scott they need to start paying YOU!

    Mmmmmm…expensive fat on a stick.

  5. I had one of these late yesterday afternoon inbetween limo runs. A bit too sweet for my taste. I ccould taste all the chocolate and steamed milk and little of the coffee. Maybe they’re still figuring out how to make this right at the location I stopped by. Next I’ll just get a coffee of the day and use the stir stick.
