Nightmare in Virginia

I’ve been sitting in front of my computer for at least 30 minutes trying to come up with something to say about today’s tragedy in Virginia, but I honestly can’t seem to come up with anything that makes sense.

So maybe tomorrow.

All I know is that my heart is heavy and I am so saddened.

For the victims, their families, their friends, loved ones, everyone….

May God’s peace rest up on each of them tonight.

So true Scott, I had a meeting with the pastors at my church and knew nothing of this till about 7 o’clock tonight. Pretty sad. Hum…

  2. Very sad indeed. One comment overheard was that, now Colorado, Columbine, doesn’t hold the record anymore for numbers of kids being shot and killed. It certainly wasn’t a record that anyone out here spoke about, proudly.

I thought a lot today about what you said in church on Sunday Scott…life will have trials and tribulations, it will be challenging, and that while in the midst of difficult times, we cannot question our faith or what God’s plan is for us. While that in no way makes what happened acceptable, I thought of that so often today and pray those families in Virginia can rely on their own faith and find the strength to get through this nightmare.

    Scott, God

All we can do is pray for those who are hurting. Hopeless people… yet the Church of Christ is called to give hope and love. May we not fail in doing so.
I posted something on someone somewhat related to me…
