On my mind…

Jul 27, 2005
  1. It’s cool outside today.
  2. I need a haircut.
  3. I’m stressed out about an article that I’m writing for Leadership Journal.
  4. I like the pants I’m wearing today.
  5. My iPod froze up for 3 hours yesterday.
  6. When I went so drink my Starbucks coffee this morning I accidentally grabbed an old cup and sipped old, nasty coffee.
  7. I almost threw up.
  8. I miss my dad.
  9. I’m trying to decide which direction to take on a message based on the movie, Hotel Rwanda.
  10. Today would be a good day for a bike ride.
  11. I have a good life. (For the most part…)
  12. I have a lot of writing to do so I need to close out this post.

What’s on your mind today?

This is exactly what I like about your blog – what sets it apart from most blogs – your authenticity.
Thank you for taking the time to involve us in your day!

  2. Stress of finding a house. Selling a condo. Getting a mortgage. Baby not sleeping. Work getting busy. Car making noises.
You know… normal everyday stuff! :)

Being lazy, gotta register the kids in school, good day for the pool, laundry, yada, yada, yada. Have a great one.

I’m tired, I have been since the weekend and don’t know why, but I’m hoping to go to bed early again tonight. I’m kinda stressed, I guess, because I see God leading me further in a new direction, yet it doesn’t occur as fast as I would like.
It’s hard to wait, but it’s good, I’m trying to focus on the here and now, on the things that still need to be done where I am.
    Overall, life is good!

All I can do is visualize you almost puking on your old nasty coffee! It is CRACKING me up! I am sorry if it was really traumatizing for you but it is pretty funny!

Scott, I understand how you feel about missing your dad. When my mom died when I was young, I remember missing her quite often. You and your family have made it through quite a CRAZY year, and you all still have your heads on straight! That is a testimony to God’s grace, goodness, and love! :-)
Right now I am thinking about how hungry I am getting and how ready I am for Ed to be home to hang out with David, so I can have a moment to myself! ;-)
