I love food trucks. I’ve gone out of my way to stop and enjoy the food truck scene in Austin, LA, Venice, Portland, NYC, and elsewhere. Here’s an article from Good.is: Why We Need Food Trucks In a Recession. I say bring on the food trucks! How about it Aurora??
While reading the article, I was reminded of the excellent use of space and creative facade work I saw last week while visiting NewHope Church in LA where my friend Charles Lee serves as Lead Pastor. Here’s a photo of their space:
They did a great job of taking this small, plain, rectangular space and giving it a fresh, clean feel – which undoubtedly impacts the experience side for those gathering in the space. Great job NewHope!

I’m in LA for the Origins Event happening this Friday and Saturday. The last few times I’ve been in town I’ve so badly wanted to stop by the infamous Kogi truck but always seemed to run out of time. Well today Larry and I finally did it. And man….it was awesome. Korean BBQ on a taco. Loved it.
