The Espresso Machine is the New Organ

Apr 11, 2005

Andrew Jones makes a great point on how the emerging church of today will probably spend LESS money on a new espresso machine than most churches spent on pipe organs years ago.

Plus, most of my unchurched friends will probably relate better to the espresso machine.  (Of course, nothing against pipe organs, they sound great…)

Jamey, sounds like you have had a little too much espresso this morning!
Having never attended a church with a pipe organ, I’m not sure we’re missing anything. Having attended churches without coffee… the espresso machine is a must! Especially for late-night young adult meetings.
