Sounds like the beginning of a joke, doesn’t it?
Actually, it’s from an article that ran yesterday in Aurora’s local paper, The Beacon News, about our church.
The article focused on our story of transition and being included on the list of America’s top 25 most innovative churches by Outreach Magazine.

I think her saying that you compared Jesus to Tony Soprano could be confusing?! I think you said that God was NOT like Tony Soprano. lol… However, I’m so glad she had a great experience at The Orchard and wants to come back with friends!!

i was a bit disappointed with the article. i agree with kathry. i also think it was a bit topical and makes us seem like we are more concerned with our “tools” than our mission.

whether one agrees or disagrees with how it was written, it still is press…it still gets the orchard’s name out!
my hope is that people come to experience what it is all about!
