Van Goghoogle

Google just downright kicks some serious butt.  One of the things that I love is the way they change their logo to coincide with certain holidays, events, etc…  Here is today’s logo.

Van_gogh_3

It is definitely a Van Gogh "look", but I haven’t figured out the significance yet…  Is it his birthday?

Can someone Gogh research this and inform us?

If you click on non-standard Google banners (like the Van Gogh banner today), it’s usually a holiday or celebration they’re highlighting.

Here’s another cool Google feature (shameless blog plug): http://winnjr.blogspot.com/2004/12/google-suggest.html

Picasa is unmatched for simplicity, but I ramble on…

Hey Noelle, you need to re-read what Scott wrote. That prego brain thing is kicking in isn’t it?? LOL

  5. Hey BW, that first link to the holiday logos is fantastic. They’ve definetly improved over the years too.
