Win 2 TIX to Catalyst ONE DAY in Chicago
102 Comments
Ok guys……. here's the deal. Catalyst ONE DAY is coming to my neck of the woods – CHICAGO – on March 25th.
My Catalyst BFF's have given me two extra tickets to GIVEAWAY. (More on that in a minute….)
Here's the 411 on ONE DAY:
Andy Stanley & Craig Groeschel will be speaking.
Topic……MOMENTUM. What IS it? How do you GET it? How do you KEEP it?
I was at ONE DAY last year and the thing I loved about it….was that it was PRACTICAL, PRACTICAL, PRACTICAL! Plus, they do some Q&A which is stellar.
Here's a quick video about Catalyst ONE DAY for my fellow ADD folks.
Early Bird deadline is THIS THURSDAY…..JAN. 28th. Register here.
OR………win two tickets.
Here's how.
- Tweet this: “Scott Hodge is giving away 2 tickets to Catalyst ONE DAY Chicago. RT & Comment here to enter http://bit.ly/7EcGDW"
- Comment Below. Give your Twitter name (so I can verify you did step 1) and your favorite movie of 2009 or just something really funny or creative (just for fun).
At 4PM CST TODAY, me or one of my posse will choose TWO ENTRANTS (is that a word?) to win 1 ticket each.
Now go. Do it. I'll see you at Catalyst ONE DAY.

Funny Joke:
A young woman teacher with obvious liberal tendencies explains to her class of small children that she is an atheist. She asks her class if they are atheists too. Not really knowing what atheism is but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like fleshy fireworks.
There is, however, one exception. A beautiful girl named Lucy has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different.
“Because I’m not an atheist.”
Then, asks the teacher, “What are you?”
“I’m a Christian.”
The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Lucy why she is a Christian.
“Well, I was brought up knowing and loving Jesus. My mom is a Christian, and my dad is a Christian, so I am a Christian.”
The teacher is now angry. “That’s no reason,” she says loudly. “What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?”
She paused, and smiled. “Then,” says Lucy, “I’d be an atheist.”

Twitter Name SundayPilgrim – would love to have Catalyst tickets even though I am in Nevada. I would find a way to get to Chicago. I am on a pilgrimage to visit a different church each week for the next year. I am looking for the elements of “real church” for the way movement toward authentic worship/church is being done out there. I am a mature Christian, experiences from being a youth pastor to mission director the school teacher. Ready to be part of instrumental change in the institution of church.

I am starting a young married class at my church and I really want to go to this conference because I have never been and I think it would be incredible!!!
@MichaelGHolmes–The movie I loved the most in 2009 was Star Trek–the remake. I thought they did a masterful job. The typecasting, the acting, the plot, the graphics, the climax, and ending were on point! Every possible question (the kind you have after movies) was answered.
I saw it again and I have the DVD and its now a family classic:) I also thought it gave some great lessons on leadership. I even wrote a guest post about it. Here it is: http://www.equippingministryblog.com/?p=138
It was just a great movie!
